What is nuclear radiation?
As radioactive material decays, the energy released (Nuclear Radiation) into the environment. It will harm a body that is exposed to it. It can directly kill cells, or it can cause mutations to DNA. If those mutations are not repaired, the cell may turn cancerous.
The common source of nuclear radiation can be: Leaked dust of nuclear power plan, nuclear weapon explosion,X-ray machines,,nuclear waste materials ,Iodine 131 medical treatment patient or animal, contaminated fruit, seafood,,Ionizing smoke detector etc.
Monitoring radiation from a I-131 treatment patient
Patients who need to know the radiation level after radioactive iodine treatment are advised to carry a GQ GMC-320 Plus. This will let patients keep a safe distance to other people. The patients may also need to know how long they can travel, Radiation detection devices used at airports and federal buildings may be sensitive to the radiation levels present in patients up to three months following treatment with I-131.
Fruit radiation detecting
To avoid contaminated import fruit, the GQ GMC-320 will let you know if the fruit has been contaminated.
Seafood testing
Seafood always be the first victim of the nuclear power plant disaster. Always do the radiation testing on all sea food from the disaster area. So that to avoid contaminated sea food.
