Select a product to estimate shipping.Our cutter’s operating temperature range must under 150°C and need to have a rest after 30min working. Otherwise, it may lead the hot wire to become red and soft, which seems that the device is melting and unusable.
On the bottom of the cutting pen, we have overheat protection design, but if the wire installed too tight, it will caused the pen a little out of its original position and the heating wire will more closer to the plastic handle.
Our cutter kit could only used to cut low density foam, such as foam board, foam block, pearl cotton, EPP, KT board, EPS and so on. It does not suitable for batch cutting or very high density hard material.
Used foam cutter for 40+ min, now it won't cut and wire is red & soft — looks like it's melting. What do I do?
Our cutter’s operating temperature range must be under 150°C. Preheat 5-10 secs for best temp. Let it rest after 30 mins of use. Otherwise, the wire may turn red and soft, looking like it's melting and won't work.
Foam cutter glows red right after setup — is this a design defect?
To prevent overheating or melting, please install the foam cutter exactly as shown in our instructions.
Works fine on regular foam, but won't cut rigid plastic at all — is the cutter defective or just not made for that?
